GREEN ENERGY...ELECTRICITY !

Nissan Leaf.
Or any TESLA model.

OMD.
Electricity.
Lyrics.

Our one source of energy
The ultimate discovery
Electric blue for me
Never more to be free
Electricity
Nuclear and HEP
Carbon fuels from the sea
Wasted electricity
Our one source of energy
Electricity
All we need to live today
A gift for man to throw away
The chance to change has nearly gone
The alternative is only one
The final source of energy
Solar electricity
Electricity
Electricity
Electricity

Good morning.

Saint Alphonsus Maria de Liguori (1696-1787)
Bishop and Doctor of the Church
Meditations for the octave of Epiphany, no.1

"They saw the child with Mary his mother. They prostrated themselves and did him homage"
The magi find a poor young woman with a poor child wrapped in poor linen bands... and yet, on entering this cave, they feel a joy never experienced before... The divine Infant's expression lights up: sign of the loving delight with which he welcomes them as the first conquest of his redeeming work. Then the holy kings turn their eyes to Mary, who does not speak, remaining silent; yet her face, reflecting joy and shining with a heavenly sweetness, confirms that she welcomes them and is grateful to them for being the first to recognise her Son for who he is: their Sovereign Lord...
O Child so worthy of our love, I see you lying on the straw in this cave, so poor and despised.
Yet faith teaches me that you are my God come down from heaven for my salvation.

 I acknowledge you as my Sovereign Lord and Savior, as such I proclaim you, yet I have nothing at all to offer you.

I am without love's gold since I have given my love to the things of this world – I have only loved my own whim rather than loving you, so infinitely worthy of love. I am without prayer's incense since I have lived wretchedly without thinking of you. I have no myrrh of mortification since, so as not to forsake some paltry pleasures, I have so often saddened your infinite goodness.

So what am I to offer you?

O my Jesus, I offer you my heart, soiled and naked as it is.

Take it and change it, for you have come down to us to wash our guilty hearts with your blood and so transform us from sinners into saints.

O grant me that gold, incense and myrrh that I lack.

Grant me the gold of your holy love; grant me the incense that is the spirit of prayer; grant me myrrh, the willingness and strength to deny myself in all that displeases you...
O holy Virgin, you welcomed those devout magi kings with keen affection and satisfied them. Deign to welcome and comfort me also: I who come, following their example, to visit and offer myself to your Son.

Proverbs 16. Just came up for a morning read and reflection

 Reading and Reflection

16  The plans of the heart belong to man,
but lthe answer of the tongue is from the Lord.
mAll the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes,
but the Lord nweighs the spirit.1
oCommit your work to the Lord,
and your plans will be established.
pThe Lord has made everything for its purpose,
even qthe wicked for the day of trouble.
Everyone who is arrogant in heart is ran abomination to the Lord;
sbe assured, he will not go unpunished.
By tsteadfast love and faithfulness iniquity is atoned for,
and by uthe fear of the Lord one vturns away from evil.
When a man's ways please the Lord,
whe makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.
xBetter is a little with righteousness
than great revenues with injustice.
yThe heart of man plans his way,
but zthe Lord establishes his steps.
10  aAn oracle is on the lips of a king;
his mouth does not sin in judgment.
11  bA just balance and scales are the Lord's;
all the weights in the bag are his work.
12  It is an abomination to kings to do evil,
for cthe throne is established by righteousness.
13  dRighteous lips are the delight of a king,
and he loves him who speaks what is right.
14  eA king's wrath is a messenger of death,
and a wise man will fappease it.
15  gIn the light of a king's face there is life,
and his dfavor is like hthe clouds that bring the spring rain.
16  iHow much better to get wisdom than jgold!
To get understanding is to be chosen rather than ksilver.
17  The highway of the upright lturns aside from evil;
whoever guards his way preserves his life.
18  mPride goes before destruction,
and a haughty spirit before a fall.
19  nIt is better to be of a lowly spirit with the poor
than to odivide the spoil with the proud.
20  Whoever gives thought to the word2 pwill discover good,
and blessed is he qwho trusts in the Lord.
21  The wise of heart is called discerning,
and sweetness of speech rincreases persuasiveness.
22  Good sense is sa fountain of life to him who has it,
but the instruction of fools is folly.
23  tThe heart of the wise makes his speech judicious
and adds persuasiveness to his lips.
24  uGracious words are like va honeycomb,
sweetness to the soul and whealth to the body.
25  There is a way that seems right to a man,
but its end is the way to death.3
26  A worker's appetite works for him;
his xmouth urges him on.
27  yA worthless man plots evil,
and his speech4 is like za scorching fire.
28  aA dishonest man spreads strife,
and ba whisperer cseparates close friends.
29  A man of violence dentices his neighbor
and leads him in a way that is not good.
30  Whoever winks his eyes plans5 edishonest things;
he who fpurses his lips brings evil to pass.
31  gGray hair is ha crown of glory;
it iis gained in a righteous life.
32  jWhoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty,
and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.
33  kThe lot is cast into the lap,
but its every decision is lfrom the Lord.

Good Morning

Nothing like waking up and praising God.

Everything renewed and feel fresh the soul inside.

Nothing like praising God. Nothing like feeling Him inside.

Cold feels like fresh outside. Old feels like new. Nothing like praising God.

Hymn Reading

Stabat Mater Dolorosa

is considered one of the seven greatest Latin hymns of all time.
It is based upon the prophecy of Simeon that a sword was to pierce the heart of His mother, Mary (Lk 2:35).
The hymn originated in the 13th century during the peak of Franciscan devotion to the crucified Jesus and has been attributed to Pope Innocent III (d. 1216), St. Bonaventure, or more commonly, Jacopone da Todi (1230-1306), who is considered by most to be the real author.

The hymn is often associated with the Stations of the Cross.
In 1727 it was prescribed as a Sequence for the Mass of the Seven Sorrows of Mary (September 15) where it is still used today. In addition to this Mass, the hymn is also used for the Office of the Readings, Lauds, and Vespers for this memorial.

There is a mirror image to this hymn, Stabat Mater speciosa, which echoes the joy of the Blessed Virgin Mary at the birth of Jesus.

Stabat Mater Dolorosa
At the Cross her station keeping,
stood the mournful Mother weeping,
close to Jesus to the last.
Through her heart, His sorrow sharing,
all His bitter anguish bearing,
now at length the sword has passed.

O how sad and sore distressed
was that Mother, highly blest,
of the sole-begotten One.

Christ above in torment hangs,
she beneath beholds the pangs
of her dying glorious Son.

Is there one who would not weep,
whelmed in miseries so deep,
Christ's dear Mother to behold?

Can the human heart refrain
from partaking in her pain,
in that Mother's pain untold?

Bruised, derided, cursed, defiled,
she beheld her tender Child
All with bloody scourges rent:

For the sins of His own nation,
saw Him hang in desolation,
Till His spirit forth He sent.

O thou Mother! fount of love!
Touch my spirit from above,
make my heart with thine accord:

Make me feel as thou hast felt;
make my soul to glow and melt
with the love of Christ my Lord.

Holy Mother! pierce me through,
in my heart each wound renew
of my Savior crucified:

Let me share with thee His pain,
who for all my sins was slain,
who for me in torments died.

Let me mingle tears with thee,
mourning Him who mourned for me,
all the days that I may live:

By the Cross with thee to stay,
there with thee to weep and pray,
is all I ask of thee to give.

Virgin of all virgins blest!,
Listen to my fond request:
let me share thy grief divine;

Let me, to my latest breath,
in my body bear the death
of that dying Son of thine.

Wounded with His every wound,
steep my soul till it hath swooned,
in His very Blood away;

Be to me, O Virgin, nigh,
lest in flames I burn and die,
in His awful Judgment Day.

Christ, when Thou shalt call me hence,
by Thy Mother my defense,
by Thy Cross my victory;

While my body here decays,
may my soul Thy goodness praise,
safe in paradise with Thee.
Amen.
